IMA is proud to announce that Accu-Temp LLC is our new partner in the HVAC, controls, energy, refrigeration service and installation business. Accu-Temp is a full-service heating, ventilating, air conditioning and controls contractor with more than 20 years of service in the State of Indiana, and throughout the USA. As part of the Comfort Systems USA family of HVAC companies, Accu-Temp is one of 66 operating locations in 20 states that assist commercial and industrial customers in their mechanical and energy needs. Accu-Temp's services are available to qualified IMA members of all sizes and locations at member-only discounted rates.

In today's environment of smaller maintenance staffs and shrinking budgets, Accu-Temp's services are timelier than ever before. Accu-Temp works to help reduce your facilities mechanical costs through pre-planned periodic maintenance, as well as troubleshooting of future catastrophic events with routine service. Also, Accu-Temp offers Energy Management Solutions with their facility automation controls and energy evaluation capabilities. These solutions sets help you reduce the need for in-house expertise in these disciplines.

With the demand for electric power growing at a four percent annual rate and projections for this winter that oil and natural gas costs will increase substantially over last year, Accu-Temp would like to partner with IMA's members to reduce their consumption, save money and help decrease the need for expensive new power generation. In addition, a well-maintained piece of equipment uses 10 to 15 percent less energy to operate because of cleaner coils, new filters, belt replacements, greased bearings, and adjustments for proper RPM on the motor.

Recent studies have shown that customers that maintain their mechanical equipment on a periodic basis and reduce the run-time of that equipment with facility automation equipment can increase the life-cycle of their equipment by almost double. This means making a piece of equipment that would fail in 15 years, operating with no control or periodic maintenance, will now last up to 28 years.
